School Events

  • Our student Picture Day will be held on Thursday September 11th in the gymnasium from 8:00AM until about 12:30 PM. Order forms will be sent home to students.

  • September 11 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Open House Preschool-Grade 4

  • September 11 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm PTA Ice Cream Social

  • September 12 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm Auburn Town “Fireworks”/back fields

Bus Update

The buses have worked out most of the beginning-of-year kinks and are now running on time. Please use the FirstView App to receive notifications of your child’s bus arrival. As a reminder, drivers will not release students without a guardian present at the stop. For students in Grade 2 and above, if you would like your child to be dropped off without an adult present, please update your default plan in Pick-Up Patrol with this preference.

  • And don’t forget! Join us at our Ice Cream Social on Thursday, Sept 11 from 6–7:30 PM during the Elementary Open House. Visit classrooms first (teachers will only be there until 7), then come grab ice cream and hang with friends. If you missed getting your swag at the Back to School Bash, we’ll have it for sale here too! Let’s make this school year the BEST one yet!

Duck Race
Another reminder that Duck Race Tickets for the September 13th event can be ordered here! Don’t forget to enter your favorite cookies into the Duckling Cookie Contest for ages 6-12 or the Bill Herman Pie Contest for ages 12 and over! Learn more!

Pinkerton Fall Open House for incoming and prospective students and families Sunday, September 21st 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. for Grades 6-8 Learn more!

Boy Scouts Pack 127 is open to boys & girls in grades K-5. We meet Monday nights at 6:30pm at Longmeadow Church. Learn more!

Lamp Post Banner Art Contest: Design an illustration to be used for the lamp posts around the Safety Complex and Town Hall. Eligibility: Any Auburn student in preschool through high school may participate. Learn more!

Fundraiser

Please help to support our own Claire Kieffer. Claire is organizing a fundraiser to help children who are patients at the Elliot Hospital Pediatric Unit. She has worked with the Childlife team at the hospital to make a special wish list of items that help bring comfort, fun, and encouragement to kids during their hospital stays. She is reaching out to the school community to collect items from that list, which can be found here: Amazon Wish List Link. The fundraiser runs from September 15th through September 26th. During this time, families could donate items directly from the wish list or drop off at the school. Learn more.
