The planning committee went shopping yesterday with over $5,000.00 in proceeds from the Father Daughter Dance to fill their Sunshine Baskets for Auburn families in need. They created 23 baskets full of household and toiletry items as well as a generous Hannaford gift card. They also voted to provide a sizable Hannaford gift card to the Dowd family as Rachel continues her cancer treatments. The girls would like to enthusiastically thank everyone who attended the dance, volunteers, donors and other supporters as well as the Auburn Little League who assisted them in their efforts. It feels good to do good for their community!
