After a two year hiatus, the Auburn Library Book Sale will be held at the Auburn Village School gym.

The dates/times are Saturday, July 30th 8a-3pm and Sunday, July 31st 11a-3pm. Sorry, the library cannot accept any book donations until after the Book Sale, due to lack of storage space. For 21 years this has been a community driven fund raiser. Without the help and dedication of the many families, organizations and volunteers that help to move, organize, box up and clean up, we could never be so successful. If any students need community service hours please let us know.

Please note that all proceeds from the sale will benefit the Griffin Library programs. For example, the past proceeds have helped to fund the Summer Reading Program, Author presentations, lectures, and attraction passes. We are looking for people with trucks and vans to help us, and volunteers’ on Thursday 7/28 @6pm to move books from the library to AVS.

We’ll also need helpers for organizing Thursday & Friday evening at AVS from 6pm to 8pm. On Sunday 7/31, we would appreciate any help for cleanup at the end of the sale. Can you help?
