The Auburn School District will be conducting a Child Find Clinic on April 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Auburn Village School. School districts are responsible to find and evaluate all children ages 2.5 to 21 who reside in the town of Auburn and are suspected to need special education, including children who are being home-schooled and those who are placed by parents in for-profit private schools. Child Find involves screening your child in speech, motor and learning skills and making a referral to special education if appropriate. The professional staff of Auburn School District will administer the screening. If you suspect that your child has a disability that affects his or her learning please call the school at 603-483-2769 ext. 1005 to make an appointment.
