Hello AVS Middle School Families!
We are only a few weeks away from the start of school! Which means it’s also time for fall sports. If you are new, school sports tryouts are open to all AVS Middle Schoolers, grades 5-8. In the fall we offer Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer and Cross Country. If your child is interested in trying out for one of these sports, please use the Google Form attached to sign them up for tryouts. The first day of tryouts is TBD. Soccer players need shin guards and soccer cleats. They are welcome to bring their own soccer ball if they would like, but it is not necessary. Cross Country runners should have running shoes. All athletes should bring a water bottle. Please sign up prior to the start of school.
Athletic forms and Assumption of Risk forms must be completed and signed prior to tryouts. The forms are attached to this email and are also posted on the AVS Athletics website. Your child can bring them to the first day of tryouts and turn them in to the coach. If these forms are not turned in on or before the first day of tryouts, your child will not be allowed to try out.

An additional athletic event this summer!
Kid’s Try-athlon. The event is coming up fast on August 15th and we are hoping to host more kids and families than ever.
